UPNÊ-4.2 Val. Four-channel ultrasonic inspection system for rolling mill

Inspection system is intended for the automatic ultrasonic testing of working part pig-iron rolling mills.
Supervised roll takes places on the lathe -grinding machine tool (or any other equipment providing rotation
it is shaky also moving of the carriage along it). The mechanical system with ultrasonic transducers also
fastens directly on the machine tool carriage. Readout of coordinates is provided with the gauge of turns
and gauges of the beginning and the product end. The electronic part of inspection system settles down near to
the machine tool and represents production version UPNÊ-4 with the specialized software.

Inspection system has four independent the channel with following characteristics:
- the channel of the testing of the bleached layer cross-section waves with frequency 5 ÌHz in a rotation direction it is shaky;
- the channel of the testing of the bleached layer cross-section waves with frequency 5 ÌHz against a rotation direction it is shaky;
- the testing channel longitudinal waves subsurface defects ð/ñ the transducer with frequency 5 ÌHz;
- the channel of the testing of the central part it is shaky lateral waves with frequency 1,25 MHz.

| As a contact liquid water or water emulsion, submitted through special hoses to each transducer is used technical
settled. Inspection system, adjustment and replacement of ultrasonic transducers are made in a current of minute
without dismantling and removal of all mechanical knots.

The software provides automatic access to the inspection system, independent adjustment of each channel
of the testing (strengthening, testingzones, range, TGC, alarm mode and etc.), a conclusion of the current information
to the screen for each channel in the form of A-range, C-range and an electronic recorder, and also information
preservation on a hard disk of the computer in the form of a separate folder with an article number and testing
date.

| Special program UpnkView allows to process in the subsequent the information which has been written down at the
testing is shaky in the form of surface C-range is shaky and to specify for calculation of coordinates of a
direction scanning for each channel, a transducer wedge, a corner of input ultrasonic of fluctuations.

By means of the module 3D processings of results the three-dimensional model of object of the testing
with possibility of its rotation, increase in separate sites and viewing of the specified radial and
axial sections is under construction.
