Universal ultrasonic multichannel inspection system of series UPNÊ for automation of non-destructive testing

Inspection system represents universal multichannel flaw detector/thickness gauge with the independent parallel
channels, constructed on a principle of a modular design. Each channel is the separate module with own
generator, the amplifier, TGC, the automatic alarm system of defects and two strobes. Item
inspection systems consist from multichannel flaw detector, a power unit and the computer in the special
execution, integrated into industrial rack Schroff Proline 19 with a class of protection IP55. Software
support provides preservation all results of the testing in the form database of inspection reports and a conclusion of the information to the screen in a kind A, B, C- ranges. As a variant
realization of the combined quality monitoring with sharing of channels as ultrasonic and eddy-current
testing in one inspection system is possible. High speed of data processing allows using inspection system for
automation of any processes non-destructive testing with linear speed of moving of a product to 1 m/s.
Differential characteristic
- Independence of all channels, allowing providing high-speed work of system and realize various modes
of processing signal in each channel ;
- Use of the computer for management of work, allows to increase in addition system coordinate devices,
to build B and C scan presentation on amplitude or a thickness;
- Possibility of a combination a quality monitoring, simultaneous measurement of a thickness, geometrical
parameters and detection of defects, the water temperature testing in immersion to a bath, etc.;
- System allows making measurement of amplitude of ultrasonic fluctuations in each channel
with frequency to 1000 Hz;
- It is provided full automatic all actions of operators: each employee has the unique password,
access opening to it only to certain by the manager to operations, full recording of actions of
the operator is besides made;
- Preservation reports of the testing products in the form database file,
allows introducing paperless technology of the testing;
- Use of network possibilities Windows NT/2000, does possible remote monitoring of a site
of the testing and integration of inspection system into uniform manufacturing system of quality;
- Realization of any quality monitoring is possible: immersion, the single element/dual echo-method,
shadow or mirror-shadow methods.
